Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Thom Smith, and I work for the American Federal Bureau of Investigation, more commonly known as the FBI. Please do not be alarmed - my only reason for contacting you is in regard to two associates of yours. I'm referring to Mr Billy Doo and Mr Scooby Doo.
For some time now, I have been trying to get in touch with Mr Doo Sr. because he is well known to us. This is a dangerous man, and is wanted for several robberies, in both private and government owned stores and banks. For this reason, and only this reason, I urge you to cooperate with us. What we ask from you is that you keep us up to date with every single new detail that comes to light. As for now, we have understood that he has given you his private address, so would you kindly forward that to me. Also extremely important - do not, I repeat, NOT, mention any of our correspondence to Mr Doo Sr. This would be an international fellony, and would put you and your family in a hazardous situation. Mr Doo Jr. however, is fully informed of our operation, but I urge you not to speak of this to him either, because of the influence his father has on him.

Thanks for your kind mail, but NO, I still won't call you darling. As I said in my previous mail, you have a lot to explain to me. You also seem to ignore the fact that my bank account is, like I told you, totally empty now. All my saving from the last couple of years is just gone, the same as the laptop is probably feeding the sharks now. In a short, I'll have to borrow some money myself. I wish Shaggy was here now, 'cause I have no that many friends. As my salary arrives every 3d week each month, it's now a long time to go with totally empty pockets. I think I'll have to eat at my work for the time being.
Well, as your cheque (as far as I know it) didn't arrive at all, it means your money hasn't been cashed either, so that money is still on your own bank account and perhaps you can use it now to help out your Nigerian friend. Or you otherwise wait until I have some money again and we sort out some things in between us first. You definitely have to talk to me... so please be honest as you broke my heart once already!
One more thing. My dad is on the run. He seem to be an outlaw now. Mr. Smith was here again this morning and he didn't look exactly like a nice guy this time. Well, the first time I met him, he'd been kind to me, but this time he behaved like a criminal himself. He also threatened me, like I'm hiding my dad or somethin'... Very suspicious and nervous guy I must say.
Also two other guys were with him. One was bold. The other one was tall but very quiet. They did all identify themselves, they showed their badges and stuff, but I was a bit nervous having them in my office. This bold guy had a couple of scars on his face and didn't say a word. He scared me a little... he looked more like a CIA agent then a FBI agent. I'll never find that out I guess.
Anyways, Smith was obviously pissed off and he said that I should be able to return to my home this afternoon as my dad's gone now, but they have to investigate every-single-thing that my dad touched with his fingers first he said, thus also my home pc. As the matter of fact, they'll take my home pc away for a day or two, to make a full copy of it's Hard Disc for further investigation. He mentioned something about a "huge international crime affair" possibility, but I didn't understand fully what he said as he was very angry, nervous and obviously very hyperactive. He made also me feel very nervous with all his MAD walk and talk whole morning.
All 3 of them were carrying guns, although they had no uniforms.
What can I say. It's like in the movie. Unfortunately, this was for real.

But its so unfortunate that the current state of my health is very bad, I have been weakened by the harsh weather over here. But the doctor has taken control of everything. I got a mail earlier today from the FBI, scooby has reported you to them and they needed some information from me to get you. Just a brief note - I've had to take a quick business trip to Mexico - since I speak fluent Spanish some bright boy thought I'd be the one to check out some locations. It seems after that Mel Gibson movie Apocalypto some producer has got it into his head that audiences are keen to see movies about the Aztecs as well. I think he's going to take a bath on that idea, but hey, I still get paid. I'm in Tijuana right now, relaxing a bit before the real work starts.
I think I've got about five days' work and then my time's my own for a while - so I put in for leave and I thought, hey, cupcake, why don't I come to you? I can get a ticket to Nigeria easily enough and then we can get together once I've paid off your doctor. Just give me your address; or if you know someone who can meet me at the airport...
By the way - stolen $20000, FBI - that loser Scooby lives in a world of his own. If that was really from the FBI, he's in a world of hurt when the Feds wake up to his bullsh*t.

Smith was here this morning and he took (among other things) all the remaining pictures of you, so now I don't have any pic of yours left- and might forget you much sooner. When I opened the door, the only thing he said was: "move aside creep!" Very ugly and impolite fellow I must say. I asked him about two other guys, but he said they are not in the US at the moment, and when I came to my work and saw the newspapers I think I know why (see attachment). I think they're after my dad. They're in Mexico now. I also believe these guys will not even try to arrest Billy. If they ever find him, they'll rather nail him down I'm afraid. Very sad, all of it...
Anyways, Smith stayed like half an hour at my place, searching for something all that time - and at the end, he took a few things with him. I don't know what exactly (except that I saw him putting your pics in his bag). He said something like he'd go to Africa, kinda safari stuff and hunt. He also had very cynical smile on his face when he said that. Well, perhaps he's going on a vacation, who knows... I hope you in a meantime returned safely to the UK and feel alright. Well, he wouldn't go after you now, would he?! I mean even if he would, it doesn't make any sense to me he goes to Africa and not to the UK, right?!... Or maybe I'm just being a paranoid a little.
