Colofon: Wie is Saskia Dommisse?

Saskia Dommisse is geboren en getogen in Beverwijk, met echter een heleboel interesses die Beverwijk ver te buiten gaan. Na haar studie Engels, ging zij op zoek naar gelijkgestemde zielen en vond deze in de muziek. Naast haar werk in de horeca en de tandheelkunde, volgde zij verschillende percussie workshops in Ierland en in eigen land en gaf zelf ook didgeridoo les.

Haar ambities verbreedden zich en zij richtte samen met Marcel Schiborr in 2004 Poets to their Beloved op. Samen maken en schrijven zij donkere, melancholische muziek. Ook schrijft zij muziek en zingt zij voor het project Life amongst the Clouds.

In het najaar van 2007 heeft Saskia samen met Marcel haar debuut CD uit gebracht.

Ondertussen is ze in de buurt ook actief en heeft zij meegewerkt aan de lokale CD "Zo klinkt Wijk aan Zee" en treedt zij af en toe in de omgeving op.

Naast haar grote muzikale passie houdt zij ook enorm van schilderen en poëzie.

Vorig jaar leerden Alex en Saskia elkaar kennen en het kon niet uitblijven dat deze cultuurfreaks het goed met elkaar konden vinden. Alex vroeg haar om cd recensies te schrijven voor zijn website en voor ze het wist had ze er dus nog een hobby bij.

Hun eerst geborene is er al. Saskia en Marcel hebben het geflikt!

In 2006 ondertekenden Poets een cd-contract bij Portugese platenmaatschappij Equilibrium Music. Een jaartje later is hun eerste cd "Embrace the fool" een feit.
